Chiropractic for dogs

Working dogs and performance dogs in particular have extra strains put on their physical systems. For instance racing greyhounds are subject to particular hazards. Constantly running around tracks in one direction is just one of the stresses on their musculoskeletal systems; they can also bump into each other while racing causing quite serious knocks in the process.

Working sheepdogs are subject to risks of various kinds both while training and working, and even domestic dogs are liable to falls and bumps, traffic accidents and disc degeneration. Increasingly, Veterinary Surgeons are happy to refer their clients to suitably qualified practitioners when they feel that chiropractic would benefit the animal.
